In 2018, I began my search for a housecleaning service. My family valued product transparency. We always used natural, non-toxic cleaners in our home. Since I had a little one and a partner that struggled with asthma, I needed a cleaner with the same values.

After hours of research, calls, and filling out forms on various cleaning sites, no local company met my criteria. None of them knew the chemical burden of the products they used. I pondered on this for some time. My mother cleaned houses my whole life, but I never felt passionate about it until I discovered this fundamental need for a change in the cleaning industry. Chemicals foul our air and surfaces; not cleanse them.

It was during a Christmas morning conversation that I decided to tell my family my plans to start a cleaning business that was honest about product safety and ethics.

The Green Cleaners debuted in Winston-Salem, NC in January 2019. We hit the ground running providing safe and effective cleaning services. Now those with respiratory issues, allergy sufferers, pet owners, parents, and health-conscious homeowners alike can benefit from services like ours.
